You Have Made a Difference
Last week, due to your advocacy efforts on behalf of hospice care, 45 Senators sent a letter to President Obama, requesting his immediate action to permanently rescind the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regulation that will significantly reduce Medicare reimbursement to hospice programs around the country. This letter followed a May letter from 171 members of the House of Representatives with the same request.
Because of your support, Northeast Florida's elected officials - U.S. Senators Bill Nelson and Mel Martinez and U.S. Reps. Corrine Brown and Ander Crenshaw - signed the Congressional letters sent to the President.
Community Hospice of Northeast Florida extends its appreciation to all who took time out of their busy schedules to help ensure that all Northeast Florida residents receive the quality end-of-life care they deserve. Thank you.
