Latest News: Community Hospice Announces New Board Member Jacksonville, Fla. - Community Hospice of Northeast Florida announces the addition of Hilary Mathews to its Board of Directors.
Mathews currently serves as hospital administrator for the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Her education includes a master’s degree in health administration from Long Island University, New York. She has given her time to a variety of groups including board member positions with Theatreworks, Florida-Georgia Blood Alliance, Northeast Florida Organization of Nurse Executives, and St. Luke’s Hospital. Mathews is currently a board member of Volunteer Hospitals of America Southeast (VHA).
Mathews is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.
Mathews resides on the Southside with her husband and four children. Established in 1979 as the first hospice program in Northeast Florida, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida® helps nearly 1,000 patients live better with advanced illness each day in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties, through the support of more than 700 employees and nearly 900 volunteers.
